Had an excellent week. Beautiful views, very convenient situation. Have walked many miles of the coastal path which are carpeted with wild flowers at the moment. Would love to come again. Many thanks……and
A haven! Really enjoyed exploring the area carpeting in spring flowers. Loved returning to St Davids. Would like to return one day. Thank you.
Wonderful view, nice house warm and comfortable. Excellent place to walk the coast path – this visit we managed Newgale to Porthgain-tough in places but wonderful.

stunning, the house very well equipped and the coastal walks from your door
are amazing! 15.6.2012
Location, location, location! What wonderful vies of the bay even when its raining. Bucklebury is spacious and comfortable and the Pembrokeshire coastline is stunning – a good combination. Thank you. Stayed June 2011.

Lovely week in Solva. House very comfortable and fantastic view. Enjoyed few days on Whitesands beach jumping the waves. July 2011
My Dad used to wash the milk bottles when this house was a milking parlour. Beautiful conversion and well furnished – the kids did not want to leave. To 1/9/2011
Lovely lovely bungalow. The weather was poor but family managed lots of walking. Loved sitting in the car at Whitesands watching the surf and surfers (Nan 83). Would liked to have seen dolphins though maybe its too rough – saw two rabbits this morning. 8/9/2011
We have visited Pembrokeshire 15 times and this is our seventh holiday in Solva, but we have never been lucky enough to stay in a cottage with views as superb as this one has. Even the rain and strong winds in the early part of the week were made bearable and largely discounted as we sat in the conservatory gazing all around us. 9-16 Spet 2011
Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home. Solva is a great place whatever the weather and our aim of exhilerating walking was achieved. Great space, great decor and spectacular views. 7-14th October 2011
We had a lovely holiday! The house is fantastic, everything is here that is needed and there are amazing views! We would love to come back next year. 21-28 Oct 2011
We have a brilliant time – LOVED the house, its stylish comfortable and what a perfect location. We went on a beautiful coastal walk to St Davids and spent a sunny afternoon on Newgale beach – thank you!! 13th Nov 2011
Bucklbury is fabulous, we’ve had a lovely relaxing week. The location and views are stunning and we love the decor. We hope to return. Feb 2012
What superb views, the website photos do not capture the wow! The lounge space and decor is fab, again not fully appreciated when website gazing. We have walked our socks off – hardly using our cars – would recommend everyone to bring a small torch and dont miss fish and chip night at No 35 in Lower Solva. March 2012
Return visit with diffferent friends who all thought the house well equipped, beautifully situated and wanted for nothing. Shame the weather was not as good but we have all enjoyed ourselves very much. Thanks. April 2012
A long way to travel but oh so worth it. We will return. May 2012
We have had a wonderful week here. The weather has been glorious and we have enjoyed some lovely walks on the coastal path. Bucklebury has been very comfortable and must have best views in Solva! Many thanks – we’ll be back. May 2012
Our second visit to Solva at this time of year. Great house both in terms of location and appointment. Highlights – Skomer Island (it was a glorious day weather wise!) and coasteering. Plenty to occupy grannys to 2 yr olds. Thank you. Diamond Jubilee week.
We always knew we would have a great time with our lovely friends but it was so much better than expected! Super food, pub sessions, super sailing to Skomer with added seals and dolphins! Thanks for having us and arranging the sun and breeze! June 2012
We had the most amazing stay at Bucklebury and a beautiful wedding ceremony overlooking St Brides Bay in Bucklebury meadow. Thank you so much for providing this stunning venue and for making our day so special. We would love to stay here again and will alway be reminded of our wedding day. June 2012
What a relaxing break with stunning views and lots to do nearby. The lovely Druidstone for a drink overlooking the bay, the Shed at Porthgain for a cream tea and the blue lagoon at Abereiddy and the Solva woollen mill all must be seen. Please go and meet Raul Speek in his gallery at the Old Chapel Solva! Really do want to return! June 2012
We came away hoping to do some art, painting and drawing but the weather was not kind however we enjoyed painting the wonderful vista from your window together with some still life your sunflowers on the hearth for example. We have had a most enjoyable stay. thank you. June 2012
Great holiday staying in the best house in Solva. We recommend 1 Walking to St Davids (2and a half hours to Porth Clais where there is a cafe. 2 Walking from St DAvids via St Nons Porth Clais and Ramsey Sound. 3 Eating at Cambrian in Lower Solva – excellent cooking – best to book a table. 4 Eating at the Shed in Porthgain and an evening pint at the Sloop. 5 Buying a lobster from next door to Sloop and eating it on Bucklebury patio. Porthgain is a beautiful unspoilt small harbour and shouldnt be missed. July 2012
Another lovely holiday here in Solva in mixed weather and I dont want to go home! Enjoyed sailing across the bay, walking down to Pen y cwm beach, crab and lobster from Willy and Jan in Solva, Whitesands, Newgale, coastpath walking, Articulate after a couple of glasses of wine!, cinema on rainy afternoon in Haverfordwest, bbq on beach, visited Little Haven, frequented art galleries… wonderful paintings at Graham Hurd Wood gallery in St Davids and Tony Kitchell across the road in St Davids, Raul Speek in Solva. Best value food of the holiday had to be The Ship in Lower Solva…Weds curry and beer night, Thurs steak and beer night – take the family REALLY good value pub grub. I had a lovely steak. We had a lovely meal at Cambrian too. Druidstone also remains a favourite especially if there is a sunset. Aug 2012
