Lovely lovely bungalow. The weather was poor but family managed lots of walking. Loved sitting in the car at Whitesands watching the surf and surfers (Nan 83). Would liked to have seen dolphins though maybe its too rough – saw two rabbits this morning. 8/9/2011

We have visited Pembrokeshire 15 times and this is our seventh holiday in Solva, but we have never been lucky enough to stay in a cottage with views as superb as this one has. Even the rain and strong winds in the early part of the week were made bearable and largely discounted as we sat in the conservatory gazing all around us. 9-16 Spet 2011

What superb views, the website photos do not capture the wow! The lounge space and decor is fab, again not fully appreciated when website gazing. We have walked our socks off – hardly using our cars – would recommend everyone to bring a small torch and dont miss fish and chip night at No 35 in Lower Solva. March 2012

Our second visit to Solva at this time of year. Great house both in terms of location and appointment. Highlights – Skomer Island (it was a glorious day weather wise!) and coasteering. Plenty to occupy grannys to 2 yr olds. Thank you. Diamond Jubilee week.

The lovely Druidstone for a drink overlooking the bay, the Shed at Porthgain for a cream tea and the blue lagoon at Abereiddy and the Solva woollen mill all must be seen. Please go and meet Raul Speek in his gallery at the Old Chapel Solva! Really do want to return! June 2012

Great holiday staying in the best house in Solva. We recommend 1 Walking to St Davids (2and a half hours to Porth Clais where there is a cafe. 2 Walking from St DAvids via St Nons Porth Clais and Ramsey Sound. 3 Eating at Cambrian in Lower Solva – excellent cooking – best to book a table. 4 Eating at the Shed in Porthgain and an evening pint at the Sloop. 5 Buying a lobster from next door to Sloop and eating it on Bucklebury patio. Porthgain is a beautiful unspoilt small harbour and shouldnt be missed. July 2012

Enjoyed sailing across the bay, walking down to Pen y cwm beach, crab and lobster from Willy and Jan in Solva, Whitesands, Newgale, coastpath walking, Articulate after a couple of glasses of wine!, cinema on rainy afternoon in Haverfordwest, bbq on beach, visited Little Haven, frequented art galleries… wonderful paintings at Graham Hurd Wood gallery in St Davids and Tony Kitchell across the road in St Davids, Raul Speek in Solva. Best value food of the holiday had to be The Ship in Lower Solva…Weds curry and beer night, Thurs steak and beer night – take the family REALLY good value pub grub. I had a lovely steak. We had a lovely meal at Cambrian too. Druidstone also remains a favourite especially if there is a sunset. Aug 2012
